You will be responsible for moving customer freight on other trucks and ensuring full truckload shipments across the country in dry vans, reefers, and flatbeds. What You'll Do

As a freight broker at New Direction Inc., you will work closely with both customers and carriers to ensure that shipments are delivered on time and within budget. You will be responsible for negotiating rates, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that may arise. Additionally, you will be expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with both customers and carriers.

In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to work on special projects and initiatives that will help to grow our business and improve our services. You will be encouraged to bring your own ideas and expertise to the table, and to collaborate with other members of our team to achieve our goals.

Who You Are

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of the transportation industry and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. You should be able to think on your feet and make quick decisions, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and carriers.

Other requirements for this role include a bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field, as well as at least 3 years of experience in freight brokering. You should also have a valid broker's license and a solid understanding of industry regulations and compliance.
